Around 5:30, when I had been up for about an hour, I thought to myself, “this is how I’m going to fit exercise back into my day without losing my ‘me time’ each morning (when I normally read and enjoy a cup of coffee before the rest of the house wakes up) – I’m going to start waking up at 5.” I checked my email a little later and there’s an email from Marie saying “if there’s something you’ve been itching to do but can’t find the time, wake up at 5!” If that’s not a sign, I don’t know what is. I like to read first, then reflect, then move – which feels right and good to me.
